Sol Studio, LLC – Rental Terms & Conditions

Thank you for choosing Sol Studio. We appreciate your professionalism and care when using our space. The following terms outline the responsibilities and expectations for all renters. By booking with Sol Studio, LLC (“Lessor”), you (“Lessee”) agree to the conditions below.

1. Booking, Payment & Rescheduling

-Full payment is required to secure your booking. Time slots are not held without payment.

-All bookings are non-refundable and non-transferable.

-If you need to reschedule, you may do so with at least 72 hours’ notice for a $50 rescheduling fee.

-Reschedule requests made less than 72 hours in advance will require a new booking.

2. Setup, Teardown & Overtime

-Each session includes 15 minutes before and after your reserved time (30 minutes total) for setup and teardown.

-If you enter the studio early or stay late beyond the 15-minute buffer, you will be charged an additional full hour at $65/hour.

3. Cleanliness & Studio Condition

-Please leave the space as you found it. Any excessive mess will incur a $100 cleaning fee.

-Trash may be discarded in the trash can provided.

-Glitter, confetti, cake, or similar substances are not permitted in the studio without prior approval.

-All furniture, props, and equipment used must be returned to their original position and condition.

4. Seamless Paper Use

-Seamless backdrops are available and must be treated with care. Do not cut paper unless you have received prior approval.

-Any damage to seamless paper (tears, stains, scuffs) will be charged at $15 per foot.

-Please use clean shoes or shoe covers when stepping onto the backdrop. Small weights are provided to help prevent paper tears.

5. Equipment & Property

-Lessee is responsible for any damage to furniture, props, equipment, or surfaces caused during the rental period.

-Minimum damage fees begin at $100, with additional charges applied based on the cost of repair or replacement. The Lessee acknowledges and agrees that their card on file will be charged for any such damages.

6. Privacy & Access

-Sol Studio is a private, single-use space. You will not share the studio with anyone else during your reservation.

-You may adjust the thermostat during your session, but it must be reset to its original setting before departure.

-You may open window blinds during your rental period but please close them before you leave (help us keep the space cool during hot summer months).

-Please lock the studio door when you leave. A $50 fee applies if the space is left unsecured.

7. Pets

-Pets are not permitted inside the studio under any circumstances.

8. Restricted Activities

-The use of smoke, open flames, illegal substances, or hazardous materials is not allowed.

-Smoking or vaping is not permitted inside the studio.

9. Content Restrictions

-Please note that Sol Studio is located in a building that includes a neighboring preschool. We ask all guests to conduct themselves professionally and respectfully at all times.

-Per our building lease agreement, creating adult content is not allowed.

10. Liability

-Use of the studio is entirely at your own risk.

-Sol Studio, LLC is not responsible for any injuries, accidents, lost items, or legal issues that may occur during your session.

-Lessee agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Sol Studio, LLC and its representatives from any claims, damages, or liabilities resulting from your use of the space.

11. Agreement

-This agreement represents the full understanding between Sol Studio, LLC and the Lessee.

-Sol Studio reserves the right to refuse bookings to individuals who do not follow studio policies.

-Any legal disputes will be handled in the jurisdiction where the studio is located.

Acknowledgment

By booking Sol Studio, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to all of the above terms and conditions.

By Signing you agree to:

• Leave the studio clean and undamaged; a $100 cleaning fee applies if the studio is left messy or damaged.
• You will not use glitter, confetti, feathers, and similar materials are strictly prohibited.
• You understand that pets are not permitted in the studio without owner approval.
• You will handle all equipment, furniture, backdrops, and props with care; damage to backdrops (tearing, cutting, staining) will incur a $100 fee.
• You agree to return lock into key box before I leave and ensure it is closed; failure to do so incurs a $50 fee.
• You understand bookings are non-refundable and non-transferable. Rescheduling is allowed only with at least 72 hours’ notice and may incur a fee.
• You understand your session includes a 15-minute setup and 15-minute teardown buffer, and that any time before or after this will be charged an hourly fee ($65).
